Mini-course: Top Ten Thinking Traps

$19.00

I often say, “Identifying the traps won’t change your life, but your life won’t change much if you don’t!”

This mini-course and guidebook will provide information & tools for understanding why you feel stuck in repeat thinking patterns, and how you can develop more effective thinking skills. Identifying the most common cognitive distortions, or thinking traps, can be a skill in and of itself, but there are other effective tools to create “disputes” to the “distortions.” In this course, I’ll go over the basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), define the “Top Ten” most common thinking traps, and provide some corrective tools to challenge them.

Description

In this Mini-course, you will learn:

  • An introduction to the basics of CBT, the “CBT Triad” how each of the three elements of the triad – thoughts, feelings & actions – influence and impact each other.
  • How you’re engaging in the thinking traps
  • Tools for challenging the thinking traps and getting more rational and effective

What Will be Different:

You deserve peace and emotional safety, along with a good dose of self-trust! When you complete this course, you’ll be on your way to relearning ineffective thinking patterns and gaining more relief & peace of mind.

You’ll have more:

  • Clarity around common thinking patterns that are unhealthy/ineffective.
  • Improved ability to challenge irrational thinking
  • Improve decision-making for yourself with effective thinking strategies
  • Improve quality of relationships
  • Increased understanding of how to manage yourself, not others

NOTE: I have found over time, that CBT practices/challenging thoughts are most effective in conjunction with connecting to the body and soothing any fight/flight/freeze responses. Keep this in mind as you “unlearn and relearn” thinking skills, to include mindfulness and body-based skills in your recovery. “Calm the body, Calm the mind” is how I view this process.

In Health & Wholeness, I’ll see you inside the course!
