In this Mini-course, you will learn:
- An introduction to the basics of CBT, the “CBT Triad” how each of the three elements of the triad – thoughts, feelings & actions – influence and impact each other.
- How you’re engaging in the thinking traps
- Tools for challenging the thinking traps and getting more rational and effective

- Increased understanding of how to manage yourself, not others
NOTE: I have found over time, that CBT practices/challenging thoughts are most effective in conjunction with connecting to the body and soothing any fight/flight/freeze responses. Keep this in mind as you “unlearn and relearn” thinking skills, to include mindfulness and body-based skills in your recovery. “Calm the body, Calm the mind” is how I view this process.
